He sent his reply on a PDF file, my question printed out, and his scribbles everywhere. His handwriting didn't appear very legible and it took me some time to decipher some words but it was all worth the time. This man is my new idol. Oh, and another memorable quote from his is this: "PRAY for an idea!" which I swear to do!

Glorietta 2 Bombing
Me and my friends spent a movie date last Friday to celebrate Pat's birthday. It was so cool because she got us free passes for Euro Cinema. It showcased a lot of celebrated European films and I was so excited to see something new. I believe the last European movie I've seen was Amelie, which I find really witty. And so we watched a Belgian film called "The Kiss" it tells a story about a 16 year old girl wanting to get out of home and go to a ballet school. She finds comfort in a middle aged man who seemed to understand him and eventually, she falls in love with him. Little did she know that the man, Vic, was a pimp and simply eyed her to be another one of his preys. I wasn't able to enjoy the film because of the SMS messages me and my friends received about a bombing incident at Glorietta 2. We were at Shangri-la Plaza and like Glorietta, it's also an Ayala Mall. It freaked the hell out of me. As the play of scenes came about, I can picture the mall exploding. Seriously, I was really scared. I had 9 missed calls from my mother and an SMS message demanding me to go home immediately from my father.
It ends up that 10 people were dead and more than a hundred wounded. The police findings came into a conclusion that the explosion came from a C4 bomb. A day after, the Raja Sulayman Group claimed responsibility for the explosion that took place. What was their reason for this? Their spokesperson said that they wanted the military to learn a lesson for killing many Muslims and they wanted one of their leaders be freed. Why do they have to kill innocent lives for their own issues? Life, indeed is unfair. Innocent people suffer and die while the cruel prevail.

Grey Matter Matters
Got this from www.adverblog.com
I instantly fell in love with this site because it features different ads, both print and TVCs. This site definitely helps me gather more grey matter. Check it out!
This video is one of Dove's ads for its self-esteem fund campaign.

Still Waiting for Mr. Serendipity
I often ask myself 'Why am I still single?". My half-brains seem to find reasons to justify this fact. Am I too much of this? Am I too less of that? Do I have an attitude problem? Or, is it just not on my list of luck? Sometimes I feel sad whenever I am alone and wonder that if I had someone, would it feel better?
It's such a shame to feel that my once twisted love affair could have changed this fate. It could have changed everything. I could have had him to comfort me when I'm distressed and all the other things boys do to make girls feel well.
But is it really worth my feelings? Is being the "other" girl enough for me to escape my N.B.S.B status? It makes me sick to think so. And then I thought: Why do we love? Is it just an escape to ease down our own personal grievances? That's when I realized I wasn't looking for LOVE at all.
At the moment, this single girl is still waiting for her own Mr. Serendipity. Let's just call him that since I haven't met him; or realized who he is yet. Yes, when I realize he is the one, I'd make sure I'm not expecting it, I'd make sure I'm not seeking. Is that possible? I really don't know, but I'd prefer it that way. In my own time, I believe he will come. Let's just pray my hopes are still high until then.
For Mr.Serendipity, whoever you might be: Don't come if I'm looking. Just wake me up from a deep slumber and maybe I'll fall in love with you.

Celeb Kings
I took the opportunity to make a review on CelebKings.com, an adult website on Hollywood Celebrities.
On the layout aspect of the website of CelebKings, the space weren't really maximized. For a viewer like me, I like to see all the links and clickables without scrolling down too much. The News Updates would look better on the right side of the page, parallel to the main menu, maximizing the space of the screen. Having the News Update on the screen upon loading, the viewer would be able to read the news and updates at once. The problem with putting the News Updates below would always make it overlooked by the members who, clicks on the celebrities at once.
On the other hand, the website has a well-organized and well-arranged menu and links. I liked it because even first-timers wouldn't get lost and its easy to get around and browse. Color-wise, I liked the usage of red because it entices the senses which is good because that's what the site is all about. For improvement, it would be better to tone down on the background color (ochre-ish) so it wouldn't take the eyes' attention from the reds and the photos. To make it more interesting, I would suggest a flash presentation of photos; just to have something alive and moving in the screen.
All in all, I liked the organization of the website; its user friendly and its interesting!
